JUNIOR YEAR – Spring 2026
Goal: Take first real SAT/ACT and evaluate.

Alternate SAT and ACT practice tests to decide which test fits you better.

Use free FLVS SAT/ACT prep course if you’re in Florida public school.

Take school-day SAT or ACT during Florida’s statewide window.

April–May 2026

Review official score report.

Target weak areas, complete two full-length practice tests before the next exam.

June 2026

Take SAT and/or ACT nationally (register by deadlines).

This gives you a “baseline official score” before senior year.

SENIOR YEAR – Summer 2026
Goal: Sharpen skills and prep for final score jumps.

July 2026

Take practice tests every 2–3 weeks.

Drill hardest question types (geometry, paired passages, grammar rules).

August 2026

Take SAT (Aug 23) or ACT (Sept 13) if ready.

Start compiling Bright Futures volunteer hours if not already done.
